Flag of South Africa

The National Flag of South Africa features a Y shape, which splits trapezoidal blue and red fields with a green line, surrounded by white border; in the hoist of the flag, a black triangle with a gold border rests. The flag symbolizes the great history of the nation, and its marriage of many aspects of culture, history, and geography. It has flown since 1994.
